For 3D printing shops

Keep printing.
FoxTrack keeps track.

Orders, spools, quotes, invoices and printers in one workspace. We built it for our own shop and run it there every day.

Everything from the order to the invoice, in one place.

How it works

The same path a job takes through the shop.

An order comes in, gets printed and packed, gets invoiced, and the spools it used get logged. FoxTrack follows that path, so the four chapters below do too.

I · Orders

Every order on one board, from the first message to the box on the porch.

Orders arrive by DM, email, market stall and web shop. FoxTrack gives them one list with a status, a priority and a due date, and each line on the order carries its own progress, so a five-piece order shows which pieces are printed, which are packed, and which have not started.

Orders move through columns you name. Pending, Printing, Post-processing and Fulfilled come set up; rename them, reorder them, or add your own. Due dates and priorities sit on the card, so what is late and what is urgent is visible without opening anything.

II · Materials

Know what is on the shelf before the print starts.

Filament, finished products and the hardware that goes into them, counted in one place. Saving an order takes the stock it needs. A low reorder point raises a notification while there is still time to order more.

Add spools one at a time or paste a whole list. A SpoolmanDB lookup fills in the brand, material and colour. Log what a print used and the remaining weight updates everywhere it is shown, with a low-stock threshold per spool.

III · Money

Quote it, invoice it, then see whether it paid off.

A quote prices the job from your real costs. When it is accepted it becomes an order, and later an invoice, with nothing typed twice. Expenses and reports close the loop at the end of the month.

Each line carries grams of filament, print hours and parts. FoxTrack works out material and electricity from the rates you set, adds labour, waste and overhead, and shows the cost next to the price you choose. Markup, discount and tax sit below the lines.

IV · Machines

The printers, their hours, and what they cost you.

Each printer carries its power draw, its purchase cost and its expected lifespan, so a quote can include electricity and wear. Maintenance runs on a schedule, and FoxTrack Bridge brings live status in from the shop floor.

Name, model, power draw in watts, print hours so far, machine cost and lifespan in hours. That is enough to price electricity and depreciation per print hour on a quote, and to see which machine has done the most work.

Everything else

The rest of the toolkit, in the same workspace.

Customers

One record per person or company: contact details, address, notes, order history and lifetime spend. Merge two records when they turn out to be the same customer.

Team

Invite people with a link. Owners, admins and members each see and do different things. Pro seats 2, Enterprise 10 per workspace.

Import and export

Bring orders, customers, products, filament, inventory and expenses in from CSV. Export any of them back out the same way, or import a full export from the old FoxTrack.

The assistant

Connect your own AI provider key, or a model running on your own machine, and ask how FoxTrack works or what is in your workspace. It drafts orders and expenses; you save them. It never writes on its own.

Documents

Quotes, invoices, packing slips, item cards and spool labels as PDF, with your logo on them, and each document type in the language you choose.

Notifications

One bell. Low stock, expiring items, maintenance due, orders due soon and overdue invoices, worked out from your data rather than typed in.

Integrations

CloudSlicer3D orders arrive on their own through a webhook. On Enterprise, API keys and outgoing webhooks connect whatever else you run.

Four themes

Paper by default, or Forest, Ink and Dusk for the evenings. The palette menu in the top bar switches them, on this page too.
