Copyright Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Fox & Train respects the intellectual property of others and expects FoxTrack users to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us about material on FoxTrack that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond, under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Reporting Claimed Infringement
Send a written notice to our designated agent (section 6). Your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Most content in FoxTrack is visible only to the workspace that created it, so please tell us as much as you can about where you saw the material. We may not act on a notice that leaves out any of the items above.
2. What We Do
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and make reasonable efforts to tell the user who provided it.
3. Counter-Notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Fox & Train may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we will send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. We will restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless that person first tells us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.
4. Repeat Infringers
We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
5. False Claims
Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether material infringes your copyright, consider getting legal advice before you send a notice.
6. Designated Agent
Send notices and counter-notices to our designated copyright agent:
